Council is committed to protecting your privacy. Council uses PageUp to collect and manage job applications. Applications are treated confidentially and will generally only be accessed by the selection panel and People and Culture staff. The personal information you provide will be used to assess your application and communicate with you during the recruitment and selection processes. Failure to provide all of the requested information may limit Council’s ability to assess your application. It is your responsibility to advise nominated referees that you are providing their details with your application. Your personal information may be disclosed to referees as part of the assessment process. If your application is successful, a criminal history check and collection of some health information may be required prior to appointment. Your personal, sensitive and health information will be only used and disclosed as authorised by law. If successful, the information provided will be retained with your employee records. Unsuccessful applications will be retained for a minimum of 3 months.
