About the position
Council’s Operations Department is looking for an experienced Road Sweeping & Cleansing Supervisor to join our dynamic and fast paced team.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Supervise a team of 7 direct reports
- Support civil infrastructure maintenance tasks in accordance with all works programs
- Safe operation of Councils Street sweeping trucks and equipment
- Support direct reports to ensure tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained in a safe operational condition, and all hazards/defects are reported to the Section Leader
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks as required by the Section Leader
This is a permanent full time position.
About you
- Current Driver Licence/ Medium Ridged truck
- Experience leading an operational/civil maintenance type team
- Construction or trades related industry experience with Street Sweeping operating
- Industry experience in road sweeping operating maintenance
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance and
- An understanding of safe work practices

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $74,536.73 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
