What we are looking for? 

Council is looking for two Natural Reserves Rangers for a three (3) month short term contract.  The roles will join the Council's Operations Department and will be primarily responsible for delivering flora and fauna maintenance programs within bushland and coastal areas. Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Implementing maintenance programs to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation within natural reserves and public open space in accordance with best practice flora and fauna management techniques and utilising specialist plant and equipment.

This role is a full time role working 38 hours per week.

About you

  • Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management or related discipline.
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas.
  • A strong understanding of safe work practices.

This position is a Band 3 currently remunerated at $66, 181 per annum, plus superannuation.
