About the Position

Council is looking for a Natural Reserves Senior Ranger within the Parks and Vegetation team who will be responsible for delivering flora and fauna maintenance programs within bushland and coastal areas. Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Implementing maintenance programs to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation within natural reserves and public open space in accordance with best practice flora and fauna management techniques and utilising specialist plant and equipment.

This role is a full time role working 38 hours per week.

About you

• Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management or related discipline.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas.
• A strong understanding of safe work practices.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence

And whilst not essential to the role, Fire suppression qualifications in addition to demonstrated bushland chemical application skills would be well regarded.

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated $70, 945 per annum plus superannuation.
