About the position
Council’s Arts & Culture Department is looking for casual Functions Officers.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Providing Hospitality Support through the delivery of catering services the service of food and beverage.
- Undertaking bar service and waiting duties at Events; and
- Setting up catering requirements for the Function and Events within the Frankston Arts Centre & Council Chamber.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, working in large fast-paced function centres.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Bar and barista experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of event catering.
- Excellent customer service skills, communication and writing skills.
- The ability to stay composed in difficult situations; and
- Current RSA.

This position is a Band 3A currently remunerated at $34.466 per hour, which is inclusive of casual loading.
