About the position
Council’s City Works Team are looking for a City Works Maintenance Assistant who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing council’s infrastructures and assets, throughout Frankston municipality in accordance with works and management programs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing civil infrastructure maintenance tasks and repairs across a range of areas along with other duties within the City Works team
- Ensuring the quality and satisfactory output of work and ability to meet work schedules and deadlines; and
- Working in a team environment or works individually under routine supervision.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Current Driver Licence;
- Industry related experience in roads, signage, construction and drainage maintenance
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance; and
- Eagerness to learn and willing to receive training to advance in the role.

This position is remunerated at Band 2A $65,336.84 plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
