Join our dynamic Customer Experience & Transformation team as the Coordinator Business & Digital Improvement, where you'll help shape the future of public services.

The main responsibilities will include:
- Create, implement, and evolve Councils short- and long-term business and digital practices and initiatives to ensure that Councils ways of working are fit for the future.
- Promote awareness and lead a culture of continuous improvement, customer experience, digital adoption and transformation across Council.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive continuous improvement pipeline in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the organisation on all transformation matters in accordance with organisational goals and strategic plan.
This is a temporary full time position ending on 20th February 2026.

This position is a Band 8A currently remunerated at $126,868.08 per annum, plus superannuation.

Mandatory/Essential:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field of Service design, Business or Psychological Science and/or extensive and diverse practical experience.
- Experience in strategically planning and delivering an enterprise-wide transformation program and support a service delivery team.
- Experience in supporting and leading teams through feedback, coaching and mentoring, including management of performance and workplace behaviour.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to strategic and critical thinking to help inform the future direction of service design and digital improvements.
- Proven ability to resolve complex problems in a timely and efficient manner using various service design, human centred design and continuous improvement techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to help influence, persuade and/or motivate stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
Desirable/Optional:
Experience in government or a related service industry.
