About the position
Council’s Operations Department is looking for a position title who will be responsible for position objective.
The main responsibilities will include:
- The Horticultural Maintenance of Parks and Gardens within the Recreation Centre Horticulture including Mowing and Gardening duties to a high visual standard and Quality;
- Assist in all Horticultural activities including Planting, Pruning, Watering, Weed Control and Cleansing when required; and
- Follow all OHS Procedures and Record keeping requirements.
This is a permanent full time position. You will be working 8.44 hours per day working on a rostered 9 day fortnight
About you
- Experience in maintaining Horticultural and Lawn areas in Parks and Reserves;
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to high quality Horticultural Spaces;
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence; and
- Ability to work with other people and deal with the Public

This position is a Band 2A currently remunerated at $65,336.84 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
