About the position
Council’s Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a Community Transport Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Driving the bus for the Community Transport program which takes passengers on regular trips to a variety of locations including shopping centres, senior clubs, the Frankston Library, the Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre and exercise programs
- Driving the bus for the Social Group Outings program and participating in social outings along with passengers and a volunteer
- Provide high levels of customer service and support
- Undertake administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the service
This is a casual role.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Experience driving a bus;
- Ability to provide safe, friendly and supportive service to passengers, including older people and people with a disability;
- Current Victorian heavy vehicle driver licence, minimum Light Rigid (LR) category; and
- Current driver accreditation to drive a commercial passenger vehicle.

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $46.11 per hour, plus superannuation.
