About the position

Council’s Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a Meals on Wheels Support Officer who will be responsible for providing high quality administrative functions to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to our eligible clients.

The main responsibilities will include: 

  • Operating as an effective customer-focused member of the Meals on Wheels Team
  • Preparing documentation to support timely and accurate meals delivery
  • Respond to client enquiries about their service and maintain accurate client information

This is a casual role which will backfill other members of the administrative team when they are on leave and provide support at peak workload periods.  Days of the week and shifts available vary, Monday through to Friday.

About you

  • TAFE-level qualification (or equivalent) in office administration and/or significant experience in administrative roles
  • Skilled in client management systems, rostering, accurate data entry, and strong organisational abilities
  • Excellent customer service, clear written and verbal communication and ability to work well with diverse individuals and groups
  • Must have National Police Check, Working with Children Check and Victorian Driver License

This casual position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $47.15 per hour, plus superannuation.
