About the position
Council’s Community Strengthening Department is looking for a Youth Worker!
The main responsibilities will include:
- Support the delivery of programs and activities which respond to the needs of young people
- Actively involve young people in the decision making, planning, and implementation of activities and projects.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of local services and agencies relevant to young people.
This is a casual position with varying hours dependent on the needs of the service.
About you
- Certificate 4 in Youth Work or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working with young people individually and in groups, in line with the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria’s Youth Participation Model
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
