About the position
Council’s Family Health Support Services Department is looking for an experienced Educator
The main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with other team members to lead and deliver high-quality education and care programs that inspire children’s learning and development.
- Creating an environment that prioritises children’s safety, health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Building and nurturing positive relationships with the team, parents, carers, and the wider community to ensure children’s needs are met holistically.
This is a permanent full-time position.
About you
- Qualifications: Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent), meeting the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and National Regulations 2011.
- Skills: A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to delivering excellence in early childhood education.
- Experience: Knowledge of or experience with the unique needs of vulnerable children and families is highly valued.
- Certifications: Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certification.

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated at $72,896.56 plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
