About the position

Council’s Roads Department is looking for a skilled Roads & Drainage Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic and fast paced team.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Performing civil infrastructure maintenance tasks and repairs across a range of areas along with other duties within the city works team
  • Ensuring the quality and satisfactory output of work and ability to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Working in a team environment or works individually under routine supervision

This is a permanent full time role.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Current Drivers License
  • Industry related experience in roads, signage, Contruction and drainage maintenance 
  • Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance; and
  • Eagerness to learn and willing to receive training to advance in the role .

This position is a Band 3 currently remunerated at $68,105.28 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
