About the position
Council’s Business Information Technology team is seeking an Application Administrator to lead and support key business applications and digital solutions that enable efficient, reliable, and user-friendly services across the organisation.

Frankston City Council is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Application Administrator to oversee and support a suite of critical business applications, ensuring they are effectively integrated and secure.

This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing, maintaining and developing Council's applications, ensuring security, integrity, availability, optimum utilisation.
- Implement/change manage application related projects in conjunction with IT Project Delivery Team.
- Work with key stakeholders across business to identify system improvements and elicit business requirements to gain efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain related process mapping.
- Create and maintain documentation and a knowledge base for application configurations, troubleshooting, and workflows to support users and teams
- Develop and maintain a training plan for Council's systems and related training and support material.
- Resolve system issues including liaising with IT Operations, Networks, and the vendor when required.
- When required, able to write, execute, and troubleshoot basic SQL queries, configure application settings, and manage patches and upgrades.
- Ability to manage APIs, data import/export processes, and system integration and data flow between applications
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or substantial experience in application administration.
- Demonstrated understanding of industry best practice in system administration.
- Experience supporting several corporate applications concurrently.
- Experience with Business Systems analysis and design of solutions.
- An excellent working knowledge of council applications
- Good working knowledge of Data Integrations

This position is a 6 A currently remunerated at $100,338.66 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
