About the position

Council’s Development Services Department is looking for two Building Support Officers who will be responsible for providing quality, timely, accurate, efficient and effective administrative support and assistance to the Building Services Team.

The main responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide administrative support to other areas of the Development Services Department as required, including administration tasks associated with the Developer Contributions Plan.
  • Ensure information is entered on Council’s corporate systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ensure requests and applications received by Building Services are processed in accordance with legislative requirements in an accurate and timely manner

Both are permanent positions, with one position being a part time role working 26.6 hours per week and the other is full-time working 40 hours per week.

This position is a Band 4 currently remunerated at $ 74,536.73 per annum (pro-rata for part-time role), plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
