About the position
Council’s Business and Information Technology Department is looking for a Desktop Support and Project Officer who will be responsible for delivering high quality desktop support and managing small to medium ICT projects across Council.
The main responsibilities will include:

Providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across Council’s Microsoft 365 environment

Coordinating the mobile fleet, printer fleet and Service Desk system

Managing ICT projects including business requirements, process documentation, stakeholder engagement and training delivery
This is a permanent full time position.
About you
You have solid experience in desktop or helpdesk support and can resolve technical issues across Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and desktop hardware. You bring strong communication skills, a customer focused approach and the ability to work well with staff at all levels.
You also have experience supporting small to medium ICT projects, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, working with stakeholders and applying ITIL processes such as change management and service workflows. You can prepare training materials, develop user documentation and deliver training for current and new systems.
A current Victorian Driver Licence and a Working with Children Check are required.

This position is a Band 6 currently remunerated at $100,338.66 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
