About the position

Council’s Road Maintenance Team are looking for 2 City Works Maintenance Assistants who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing council’s infrastructures and assets, throughout Frankston municipality in accordance with works and management programs.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Performing broad tasks involving utilisation of developed skills;
• Ensuring the quality and satisfactory output of work and ability to meet work schedules and deadlines; and
• Working in a team environment or works individually under routine supervision.

This is a Permanent Full-Time role.

 About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

• Current Driver Licence;
• Construction or trades related industry experience; 
• Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance; and
• Eagerness to learn and willing to receive training to advance in the role.

This position is a Band 2 currently remunerated at $65,336.84 plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
