About the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual for the role of Business Support Officer to join our Family Health Support Services Department – Maternal & Child Health and Immunisation Team (MCHI).

The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative and customer services support for the MCHI service.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first point of contact for MCHI service delivery;
  • Providing exemplary customer service for the MCHI team;
  • Data entry of client information into the MCHI client management system (Child Development Information System - CDIS);
  • Supporting the scheduling of MCHI client appointments throughout the municipality; and
  • General administrative duties.

This is a temporary full-time role working 38 hours per week until the 1st of August 2025.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Self-motivation and an ability to work co-operatively as a team member;
  • Outstanding customer service;
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills;
  • Experience in business and or office administration/management, including the use of MS Office software applications;
  • Experience working with client booking systems and/or operating within a complex rostering environment; and
  • Current valid driver licence to attend various sites across Council.

This position is a Band 4, which is currently remunerated at $72,896.56.
