About the position

Council’s Arts and Culture Department is looking for a Library Communications and Engagement Officer who will assist with the promotion and delivery of library programs and activities.

The main responsibilities will include: 

  • Graphic creation for event programming
  • Customer service in a public library setting
  • Administration duties to support the engagement team

This is a permanent part time role working 29.75 hours per week.  Working days are flexible but need to include a weekly Tuesday shift on the service desk at Frankston 9am-2pm and a fortnightly Sunday at Carrum Downs shift on the service desk 12.45pm-4pm.

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $72,896.52 (pro rata) per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
