About the position

Council’s Sustainable Asset Department is looking for an Asset Information Officer.

The main responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of Council’s asset data and information supporting smooth transition to new Asset Management System
  • Ensuring integration of asset data with Council’s Geographic Information System.

This is a 2-year temporary full-time position.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the position (e.g. Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Information Management, etc.) or proven relevant experience in GIS/asset management in Local Government.
  • Experience in asset data management, data collection, maintenance and analysis.
  • Experience with Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as both a member of a team and in an unsupervised capacity.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.

This position is a Band 5A currently remunerated at $82,567.33 per annum, plus superannuation.
